Marriott Birmingham

It's a fair hotel, but Marriott is still charging people for wifi (unless you're a Marriott Bonvoy member who books directly). What year is it? Free wifi should be standard, and this is just annoying nickle and diming.

They have a stupid sliding glass door for the bathroom that kept coming off the tracks making opening and closing the door difficult to impossible. They tried to fix it but came off a few slides later. Room wasn't very clean, no extra blankets, only one drawer in the whole room and no luggage stand.

Improper lighting in bathroom. Window seal was cracked, could not see outside at all. Elevator doors were nasty, covered in coffee. Never cleaned off for 4 days during our stay. Noteworthy details: Cleaning service needs to be upgraded. The hotel sprayed some type of freshness in the hall. To strong for people with breathing problems. Was not a nice oder.

Rooms at Marriott were the best they have the best and cleanest rooms. They have a glass sliding door for the bathroom, usual made tv. And they even had a couch for us to sit at! Service at the Marriot was awesome. We had a great time and with the fact that the customer service was awesome! They have very gentle feelings and are awesome at caring us. The location of this hotel is spectacular! Especially if you are visiting someone at a near by hotel like grand view because its just a few minutes away! From my view, I can see most of the area here. Maybe cause Im on the 8th floor. Rooms: Rooms are good, they have the 2 sizes 2 queens and 1 king. However, they do not have any suites on higher end floors. Nearby activities: A nearby activity can be found in the Marriot website whilst booking. Safety: If you ever experience any medical concerns, there is a hospital nearby 2 minutes away. Walkability: It is easy to walk here, its not claustrophobic if you have a big suite. Neither it is with a normal room. Normal rooms you can move a lot. Food & drinks: They have a wide selection of food for breakfast. If you are O think Gold or Platinum Elite+ you get a 15 dollar food voucher per person! Noteworthy details: This place is spectacular for its location and its customer care.
