This place doesn't deserve 1 star. My Seller clients were under contract from April 8 - July 13th, after multiple extensions requested by this lender, Chris Thomas. The Sellers refused to extend beyond July 13th. Afterwards, we found out Chris made a mistake causing the loan not to be approved. Buyer lost thousands of dollars on appraisal, inspections, etc, and a non refundable $3k earnest money. Let me be clear, find another lender.

Do not do business with this man! All of the previous reviews are absolutely correct. Multiple extensions (3), $5,120 lost (appraisals, inspections and earnest money) and my credit score dropped 25 pts from his inquiries. My 2nd opinion described him as a "rookie" that didn't know what he was doing. He absolutely did not deliver what he talked and the ball was dropped everytime with no closing. Not to mention he was sassy with the listing agent throughout the whole ordeal. Communication is not his strong point when it comes to execution. The sellers did not want to deal with him anymore. Over a year ago he didn't have any reviews when I decided to do business with him but he is definitely a red flag.

Terrible Terrible Customer Service. Will get your loan info started and from the beginning it's down hill. Will not return phone calls for days if you keep calling. I had perfect credit and it took me 3 months and 5 closing dates to close. He ask for the same info over again because he have waited so long the first info expired. And I would never have closed if the seller company and the lender he was using had to start working together around Greatland, and processed in a week what he would not do in 3 months. I started April 28th and closed August 3rd. I will never recommend Greatland Mortgage. It's a one man company and when he won't communicate there is no one to talk to.

I agree with Linda's review. Steer clear of this lender. We were the sellers and multiple close dates were communicated to us, but we never closed. We finally chose a new buyer. Lack of communication was one of the primary issues.
