Cicis Pizza

I hate to leave 1-star reviews, but I feel compelled to in this case. I placed an order at CiCis Pizza through DoorDash today at lunch time. CiCis confirmed my order. The order status said they were preparing my food and it would arrive in about 30 minutes. I waited, thinking everything was fine. Then, CiCis suddenly cancelled my order. They left me hanging for nearly an hour and no one called to tell me what happened, or to let me know I wouldnt be getting my food. If they couldnt fulfill the order thats one thing, but why accept the order, say youre making it, make me wait an hour, and then ghost me? Very disappointing.

Manager seemed to be having bad day.. No ice in machine..no pizzas.. There were more than 8kids there while I was there and pizza they put out were spinach,Alfredo with mushrooms and pineapple and ham.. These are not most kids favorites.. Disappointed in service and availability.. Wait time ridiculous!!

Worst experience at a Cici's. My sole purpose of going was because I seen an ad for the $5 buffet.(Guaranteed all month long) Asked for the $5 buffet meal and was denied, their only explanation was "we are no longer doing that deal, but are doing a different one" I tried explaining to them that I just seen the ad that morning and they replied well it just stopped right then. Not even 20 mins before i walked in the door. I got two different explanations of why I couldn't have the $5 buffet deal. The other was because that particular Cici's chose to do the deal a month before(website stated 'in june' the month of the deal) Even with being displeased with not getting the price I felt I deserved i stayed to dine because i was pregnant and starving but the whole experience there was awful. Temp of room was too hot, flies everywhere food tasted like it had been sitting out a while, and a Mexican stuck his bare hand up the ice despenser when it was jammed(very unsanitary). I asked for a full refund and was denied because 'I sat down and ate', which was only a few slices of pizza because I was so disgusted by my visit there. The customer service was very piss poor along with everything else. Never have I been so insulted. Because of this one incident I will never go to another Cici's. If i could i wouldnt even give them a whole star...(edit of this review on 2/1/2021 Its been almost 7 years and ive still sworn off cicis pizza. Thank you Cicis in Decatur YOU SUCK!!!! and this comes from a very dedicated pizza lover)
