LongHorn Steakhouse

In from Tennessee and me and my fiance stopped late evening. We were seated and our waiter took our order and got our drinks. Fried onion was good. We then received our main dish and I had ordered a hamburger and potato..our waiter brought my hamburger out and said "don't laugh at us, but this is the only bread we have". He had brought my burger out on the bread that they serve with butter to everyone. I asked to speak with the manager David and he said he sent it out like that because thats all the bread he had. My fiances plate was okay but the server brought his mac n cheese out 10 mins or more after our meals. Not a very good experience.

We took our mother out for Easter Lunch. I ordered the lamb chops over cooked. Lamb Is supposed to be cooked medium rare My'n was cooked medium well. They poured a very salty sauce over it couldn't taste the food Because all of the salt. My mother had the Very same problem way to much salt. No restaurant should cook food with a ton Of salt. On a customers plate. If you wanted a dessert you will pay $10.00 For It or more . I said no thank you. Not for $10.00 for dessert. So when we left Longhorns in Dothan Alabama We all stopped at a store buy a bottle ofwater to get someOf the salt out of our mouths. Six hours later I still taste the salt. I should of sent it back but It was very busy. Crowded. Our waitress Ashley was fantastic great lady. Always there To help us with anything we may of needed? So If ever go back to longhorn in Dothan Alabama? I will tell them do not add Salt on any of my meat. The rice pilaf was Very salty. The portions were small. You know what? Cooking at home Is the best. Then eating out in these way over priced restaurants. Over salted food. Yuck You all take care Greg. You all been warned about Longhorn.

I come to longhorns for the good food, service is another story. I witnessed another customer get worse service than I received so in place of leaving server a tip I paid for the other customers lunch. Hope it makes his day better since he sat there with a frown on his face and waited over 10 minutes before ever receiving his beverage or anyone taking his order
