    Was asked to complete a job and get paid after the closing, once the work was completed and we came to pick up payment i was told it wasnt available? And that they have no idea where my money is. As a vendor a buyer or a seller this should raise red flags, a real estate attorney should be able to not lose money that was given to them for safekeeping. Vendors, sellers, and buyers shouldnt have to worry and stress about an attorney losing their hard earned money. In response to owner comment. I appreciate the response, I wonder if I could get clarity on these aspects of the issue. Outside the fact that I had to bring it to your attention. 1) Why was the Closing Statement changed without the buyers agents approval? I personally would not want to close at an office that changed paperwork without my realtors knowledge. Home buying/selling process is stressful enough. 2) Why did your Paralegal, Sherry Singleton laugh and respond "we are not paying that" when it was brought to her attention that she wired the money away? I have copies of the Original Closing Disclosure, addendum and emails proving the Closing Statement was changed without the realtors knowledge. I am happy to post them if prompted. Thank you for returning the money.

While our records show that your company was a vendor for a party to the transaction, we acknowledge your comments and regret any inconvenience to your company related to this transaction. Our client in the transaction, which was the purchaser’s lender, did not allow your invoice, which we received on the day of closing, to be added to the closing statement. Therefore, your invoice needed to be paid outside of closing. The closing statement, approved by the lender and executed by all parties to the transaction did not include payment of the invoice. Our firm distributed all proceeds related to the transaction in accordance with the lender closing instructions.After being made aware that your invoice had not been paid, we reached out to the parties involved in the transaction and the funds have now been disbursed to you. Again, we regret any inconvenience to your company related to your delay in receiving the payment of your invoice.
