Great apartments with washer and dryer in each unit. Pool, exerxise room, pool table, dogwash, and car wash area are great amenities.

once again I am having a bad experience Im giving 2 stars because at least this time I got a response back and it seemed like things were going to be handled and I was responded to in a timely manner and the community Director was nice about the situation but I feel like it was not handled like it should have been a maintenance worker should not be able to talk about a current tenant of an apartment complex saying that theyre being evicted when thats not true but either way it shouldnt be talked about outside of work and shouldnt be talked about regardless because theres a difference in the first amendment right and tenant confidentiality. so basically Im being told a maintenance worker who is off the clock can talk about anyone who lives there and where they live potentially their apartment number and nothing can be done about it because of the first amendment that doesnt make sense to me to me personally that is a safety risk and a safety violation so now not only am I living there uncomfortably I have to live with knowing that maintenance can just talk about me and my home anytime theyre off the clock. given that its unlawful for a buisness to disclose any non public personal information about a tenant without their consent (which youd think maintenace is apart of their buisness) its crazy that im being told about the first amendment when a federal law literally prohibits this being done. no one should know where i live unless i want them to know no one should be being told im being evicted when thats not the case and no one should be told i dont pay my rent on time when we have never been late one time on our rent since moving here thats diving into financial aspects of my privacy.

Absolutely the worst place to live and worst experiences. Great place to live if you want to be over charged for water $100 a month for water!!! just crazy when youre not even home enough to use $100 worth of water just to find out the property had a leak and decided to illegally charge us to make up for what they lost. oh and lets not talk about how the pool yall all used during the summer didnt effeicently have chlorine and lets not talk about how they turned the heaters off to the pool because it was to expensive to keep it on. My ice maker hasnt worked since we moved in and were told by maintenance themselves they couldnt order the part it was to expensive. our shower was supposed to be replaced fully 2 weeks after we moved in they somehow got sent to the wrong apartment . my microwave has never had a light. oh and the gates that never work and imagine getting off of work at 10:30 get home and you cant even get in and have to drive all the way around just to get in. Constantly dealing with neighbors having music up loud to the point you can hear it even over your own tv and child playing and constantly hearing couples scream and fight with eachother the smell of weed is ridiculous when its supposed to be a smoke free property. when we spoke with macey to try to terminate our lease regarding issues we had we were still being told wed have a termination fee by collin as well when we were literally being illegally charged for water and have had nothing but issues and considering how much we all pay to live here no one should have issues. Ive decided to just no longer communicate with anyone and let our lawyer handle it when our lease is up. hopefully everyone else has had a better experience.

I was new to Huntsville and moved into Laurel at Dry Creek. The apartments look nice inside, but after you move in you will realize you can hear everything. The walls were pretty hollow in the apartment I was in. Its a gated community accept the gates never work. I would leave in the morning and couldnt get out of the gate on Research PKWY. This happened a few times with people lined up and then having to back up to go to another gate that would open. Trash piles up out by the dumpster quite a bit. The last month I was in the apartment a new management company took over and they were trying to charge me a full months rent, when my last month was suppose to be prorated for part of the month. They kept telling me they were going to fix it and then told me it was out of their hands because it was a totally different company that handled billing tenants. On top of that the new manager of the apartments went into my apartment while I was still paying on it and took paper work that I needed out of my apartment. When we went up front and questioned it, he told us he took it, because he didnt know which apartment were vacant and which were not. I wouldnt recommend this place for the working class. It was in a convenient location, but thats it. Maybe it will get better.

AVOID THIS PROPERTY Update 2024 February: November 13, 2023 notified property through email of intent to vacate at the end of our lease (2/5/24). No response so we reached back out and received confirmation 11/14/23. Turned in keys and gate cards 12/1/23. Portal wasnt updated to reflect the receipt of items, reached back out and system was updated 12/4/23. 12/29/23 contacted staff and scheduled move out inspection for morning of Feb 2. 2/1/24: called to confirm walk through inspection, new staff notified us that we werent required to be present and they would conduct it when they had time. Also notified them that their new resident portal did not reflect our pro rated amount as we only had 2/1/24 thru 2/5/24 scheduled to reside in the property to fulfill our contract though we were out of the apartment and notified them December 1, 2023. The staff stated they would get the price corrected. 2/3/24: emailed for an update as nothing has changed in the portal for our amount due. 2/5/24: contacted property staff again by phone (earlier attempted thru email without response). Stated they would get it resolved. The 2/3/24 Email provided the screenshot of the old portal with the correct amount that should be due and notified them we should not be responsible for any late fees. 2/5/24: community director replied to email asking if weve already moved out and to turn in keys.. my response was the aforementioned mentioned emails. 2/7/24: still not resolved! We have stayed in several luxury apartments throughout our many years in Huntsville. This has by far been the worst experience weve had even compared to one of the lower end apartments we first moved into when we first moved to Huntsville. The faculty with an exception to one person does not care to resolve any issues or complaints to the fact that the building has the stench of marijuana due to so many residents smoking. 1. Weve made several complaints of the smell and probable cause they would have for searching the residence, even to the supposedly voice line of the on site security officer and nothing has been done and out of 4 times with the same complaint only once did they reach back out to us with empty promises. (HEAVY DRUG USE ON PREMISES) 2. We also paid for the monthly pest terminator service of which they never came into our apartment u til we finally complained of pest in our residence. At that time they did not even inform us of the initial date or time he came in as our cameras informed us of motion in the apartment. (SO YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK IF YOURE AT HOME IN THE SHOWER OR ANYTHING ELSE AND STRANGERS ENTER YOUR PREMISES) Even at that time, after pest control came on once without notification, the work order was closed with comments that the pest control would come in the following Thursday. That was our only form of any notification. Then that next Thursday he did come while no one was home and again our cameras notified us of motion, as the pest control came into our residence, but this time our pets were still out as we were not notified. GLAD HE DIDNT GET BIT! 3. The gym never has clean towels nor does the faculty replenish the sanitary wipes even when notifiedthis last time took 3 weeks and wasnt until the only faculty member who actually cares was notified about it. UNSANITARY 4. This is supposed to be a gated community, yet the 6 months weve been here they have only worked 10% of the time and is constantly under repairs and the property has sent numerous emails of on site vehicle break-ins SO MUCH FOR FEELING SAFE. 5. A lot of the residence have no care for others safety as they speed through the complex, run stop signs (again we have dash cam footage of this where we were almost hit). So dont let your kids walk or play outside anywhere here. (NO SAFETY FOR YOUR CHILDREN OR YOURSELF) 6. The property cant even control all the people that let their pets crap around the property and not clean up after them.they have cameras but doubt they work like their gates never do. (UNSANITARY)
