Phone upgrade: walked in at 3:30 and asked to have data from my old phone transferred to the new one. They started charging a $30 fee for the service which is steep but I was going to leave it up to the professionals. My transaction receipt timestamp was 3:49pm. The data transfer was horrendous. The guy who sold us the phone went home around 5-ish. A sweet girl who'd taken lunch and returned came to check on us because she couldn't believe we were still there. She said it was their wi-fi and let us use her hotspot after being there over 2 hrs. She even left it in-store passed her shift. We didn't leave the store until 7pm, closing time. They haven't put a credit on my account as they don't do refunds per the Manager. I was hungry and tired, not to mention we wasted our Saturday. The manager only checked on us during the last hour but was there the entire time. I like my new phone but wouldn't recommend anyone in the store other than the girl who was kind and empathetic. Hopefully, they make this right soon because I've been a loyal Verizon customer for many years.
