Thank you for your opinion. We always keep customer service above everything else. We are an independent agency that tries to provide the best insurance coverage with companies that suits the needs of our insureds. That being said, we insured your home and auto on September 2021. We were advised of no prior loss history when submitting your application, yet, the company that insured your home uncovered prior claims and loss history. Instead of handling this appropriately so you could continue coverage, you asked us to cancel everything. We then emailed you a cancellation letter for you to sign and send back. You did and the cancellation went smoothly. Now, your mother-in-law requested to cancel her auto and home a month before renewal - instead of waiting until renewal. There were never any issues with the auto policy or the homeowners policy. We immediately sent a cancellation request form to be signed and sent back to us. There were no issues with this request. Your wife let us know that the mortgage company paid the renewal amount of the cancelled policy after we sent the cancelation letter to the company that insured the home. The mortgage company that paid the premium had nothing to do with our agency. In fact, we helped get the problem resolved at that time with confirmation from your wife and mother-in-law that things were then OK. Your wife then explained to us that the mortgage company was in the wrong for paying the homeowners renewal, and causing the cancelation to default back to active status again.
