This is a great dojo. Cody Sensei is a good teacher, who always answers questions and helps if you don't understand something. The other students are great and are very helpful also. I love going to train here. It's truly the highlight of my week.

Updated review from 2023: I am still training at Rocket City Dojo. The cost of training is still affordable. It has helped our members build their confidence, improved physical fitness, and teaches self defense principles. I think we are lucky to have Cody as our teacher. Review from 2020: The cost of training is affordable and you can either pay a monthly fee or pay per class. I have participated in: Kempo, Kendo, Karate, Jujitsu military combatives program, Aikido, and Taekwondo. Out of all of them I have enjoyed this one the most. Every training night we are paired up with our fellow trainees to get plenty of hands on practice. We get to train with the weapons on the wall, which is always fun. If you are looking to build confidence, learn self defense, and get in a little exercise than this is the place. Lastly, Cody has over a decade worth of training time with this martial art. He is an excellent teacher.

A fascinating and practical martial art that encourages you to learn many different skills. This dojo is a very welcoming environment for new people who want to learn. I had no martial arts experience prior to joining, and have never once felt like I was being judged. Very highly recommended.

Joining Rocket City Dojo is one of the best decisions Ive ever made. I have ZERO experience with martial arts and that has never been held against me. I felt welcome and accepted by everyone from the start. Cody-Sensei has the patience of a saint My coordination is about like an inebriated squirrel, and hes never been anything less than patient and encouraging. I would definitely recommend this dojo to anyone whos willing to put in the time and effort to learn an amazing art thats good for the body, mind and soul.
