After experiencing a debilitating low back injury and going through two months of physical therapy with no progress, I sought out Dr.Kay. After the first visit I felt better than I had in the past 2 months. By one weeks time I was walking like it had never happened. That was nearly 6 years ago, since then I have been coming to doctor Kay whenever a new injury presents itself whether it be, Low back, neck, ankle, wrist, shoulder, or knee pain with nearly the same results as the first time I came in. Dr.Kay is extremely knowledgeable and is extremely skilled, he treats each patient differently and will explain exactly what is wrong with you in depth and how he will attempt to correct it. Dr.Kay uses a drop table to adjust his patients which is less invasive than your traditional chiropractor. I personally have seen countless other people have similar experiences to my own, and would recommend anyone to stop by Dr.Kay's practice.

He's helped me with many back and neck issues, I had an accident a few years ago and we were able to get to the underlying root cause of my issues and now I return periodically for a tune up. I thought I would never get to the end of this!

I am writing this review primarily more towards the office and billing dept. and office person, Laurie Burns, than the quality of care I received as a patient of Dr. Michael Kay. I honestly think that he is a decent chiropractor considering most of his equipment, tables and xray machine, are older and more archaic than more modern chiropractic offices.I was a patient of Kay's for several years and never had a problem with insurance or billing. I was covered for my adjustments through my Medicare coverage and never received ONE bill. Not ONE notice saying that I had a balance due or any monies owed. IN 2016 I changed insurances and they didin't cover my treatment so I had to stop going. Fast forward TWO years... That's 2 YEARS !!  Out of the blue I get an unexpected bill for $120.00 saying that I had a past balance due for my treatments. TWO years and not ONE notice until a week ago when I received that bill. No indication whatsoever that I had a balance due. If it takes 2 years to figure out that a patient has a past bill due their accounting machines must be even more archaic than Dr.Kay's equipment. I returned a letter explaining that I wasn't aware that any monies were due and now they are threatening to send this bill to collections and ruin my credit. This is unbelievably LAME and in my opinion VERY unethical. There are many chiropractors in our area and in my opinion chiropractic medicine is still  regarded as not really scientifically helpful in most situations. The bottom line is that business must be every bad and times extremely hard in the Kay office to go after a patient after TWO years and dun them for a paltry $120.00. If I were a doctor I would write it off. Why? Because those adjustments at $50.00 apeice for approximately 5 minutes is excessive to begin with. There's no telling how many 1000's of dollars they billed Medicare for my treatment and to be so cheap as to bill a customer $120.00 for a service that supposedly happened 2 YEARS ago is very, very, SAD indeed. Please read my review on Facebook as well. I'm gonna pay this bill but hopefully, thanks to social media, I'll be able to make  the public aware of their actions.
