I had no idea what to expect in the process of filing a patent. John Rizvi and his firm were a joy to deal with-- patient, attentive, knowledgeable, credible and professional at each and every step of the way. I am so glad that I found The Patent Professor! I would wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone pursuing a patent for their idea.

I contacted a few of the best Patent Attorneys I could find, at first shopping locally, then nationally once I realized that location shouldn't be a factor when searching for an Intellectual Property attorney. I'm sure glad I did, because after I got off the phone with John Rizvi and his team, mainly a gentleman named Noah, there was no doubt who I wanted on my team. Sadly, having discovered the best and knowing EXACTLY the ONLY attorney who I wanted, my financial backer backed out. At least now I know who to hire for my next invention.
Mr. Rizvi and his team areabsolutely incredible. I was very nervous and unsure about myself as well as the process of getting a patent, but Mr. Rizvi's team was well prepared. Noah was perfect: he let me know the general process of applying for a patent, as well as the many services they provided. He informed me of the average amount of time each stage would take, as well as the possible variations, and subsequent general costs associated with each stage. He also informed me of possible additional costs that might be incurred, depending on complexity of the patent. Other attorneys were keen to give me a standard rate (ex: $350/hr) but wouldn't even tell me if they thought my idea was patentable. ?!? Also, the night before my scheduled free session, Rizvi's team has sent me a few things, one of which was a Non Disclosure Agreement. I had assumed NDA was already in place due to client/potential client - attorney privileges and confidentiality, but they always say, "If it wasn't written, it wasn't done.". I see the NDA as one of many ways that John and his team go the extra mile to make sure to give you as much protection as possible. (I didn't discover this until I received a pleasant surprise- he sent me a little package of information on himself, patenting, as well as a cd titled "Patent Protection" and his book, a #1 Best Patent Law Seller, "Think and Grow Rich for Inventors." John Rizvi and his team go the extra mile: he even offers the service of bearing witness to support one's date of conception! If I'm not incorrect, in certain instances, this could determine priority. I could seriously go on n on..... But I always say, "Don't take my word for it: do your own due diligence.". And I'll Put my money where my mouth is... I'll write another review after I hire him to write my next patent application.

Absolutely hands down the most knowledgeable and practical set of individuals with the mindset of no excuses just results. This firm is well worth the small amount of time and effort required on a client's behalf. Never disappointed, they are great at communicating and just downright do what they say they do.
