What benefit is it to have the best doctor in the area if you cannot get test results, no one will return phone callsafter leaving multiple messages nor can you get the link to the portal to log in and read them yourself. Particularly difficult when cancer is a potential reality and you know nothing!!!!

I have not been to this office but considered it. Not going now because of all the complaints of the staff. Who wants to go to a doc and have more added issues?

My experience at Urology Specialists Huntsville was with with Dr. Flatt. He did my surgery and was, I believe, a good doctor. My problem, like many I read here, was not with Dr. Flatt but the staff at Urology Specialists. After my surgery Dr. Flatt turned me over to a nurse practitioner and apparently never checked up on how it was going. I was supposed to get a treatment once a week for 6 weeks, but I was bleeding every-other-week at first and was sent home with a prescription. The bleeding became more as time went on and I could not receive the treatments. The nurse practitioner kept prescribing different prescriptions for me to stop the bleeding but it was mostly unsuccessful. After more than 3 months I insisted on a meeting with Dr. Flatt and informed him of what had been going on with the nurse practitioner. He immediately ordered another surgery for me, thank goodness. But I never went back to that office. Dr. Flatt is such a nice guy; I hope he will look for a better-organized staff to work with. Good doctor, pathetic organization.
