The filth in this place made my skin crawl... The pool water was so foggy, you can't see the bottom. Ripped pool towels and dirty seats. My 7 year old told me she saw a bug in the bathroom but it ran in a gap where the tub and flooring had separated over years without any property upkeep. There was hair on the bathroom floor from the last people who stayed, and no trash bags in the cans. Felt like someone started cleaning our room and got distracted? We stayed for an hour and left for a hotel almost double the cost. Country Inn is a $60 roach motel with a $170 price tag.

This location was $40 more than the previous stay at Country Inn and Suites in Effingham IL. This location not great for a traveler.
1. Hot tub broken
2.Not working ice machines and have to go to the 3rd floor.
3. If you park on the side of the building near your room you can not enter back in to the building.
(Very hard for transporting luggage)
I really feel this is a management issue not a facility issue.
I would not use this location again.

Excellent accommodations!
Quiet, restful stay!
Rooms: Clean, well-kept, spacious, and modern.
Safety: Well lit parking and secure entrances.
Noteworthy details: Pet friendly!!
