Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital

I was checked in for a total hip on Thursday was my pre registration. I needed more money then I had for my copay. I thought I was going to be turned around before I ever got started.but no a gental man came down from upstairs to inform me he needed the full amount after explaining my situation they was able to help me go ahead with my surgery and I am very grateful. I checked in at 7 am on Friday morning. From the time I walked in the door I felt at home. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. After my surgery I was taken to the 4 th floor the RN and aid that was taken care of me I dont remember your names but you both was so helpful.at 7 pm it was shift change my RN that came in name was Leslie all I can say is wow what a blessing you was. I will never forget you. You made sure I had everything I need you even helped my husband make his bed so he would also be comfortable. Thank you Leslie. It wasnt to much later after I meet Leslie my door opens and I hear hay yall the sweetest voice ever my sweet Donovan all I can say is the spirit within him was pooring out all around him.you Donovan made me laugh made me feel love. Donovan and Leslie made my night so very easy answered every question I had with out hesitation and knowledge I thank you for that but more than anything. I thank you for the love. At 7 am shift change Jessica is my RN. Victoria was my LPN both of those. These ladies showed the upmost respect and love and I thank you for all that you did for me fourth floor surgical team. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for making my stay as comfortable as possible.God Bless you all.

This review is for aftercare of patients. My son received treatment here and surgery at Jack Hughston Hospital. I have received several bills that claim I owe money but have been PAID IN FULL by my insurance with verification. Each time there is a balance, I call my insurance who states there should not be a balance as the bill was paid and full and then the billing department basically says ohh we made a mistake. Thats unacceptable! What if I blindly pay the bill? How many people are being cheated out of their money because of the billing departments incompetence?? I am now on the third bill of this incompetence $766.85 dollars out of my pocket has I not called the insurance to verify. Get it together!

Was coming up here for a cough that would not go away, feeling like I had the flu. The doctor just smiled at me like I was stupid and said it's because of my athesma and was being rude to me the whole time I've had athesma my whole life and it didn't feel like this

Has spine surgery there last week. It will be my preferred hospital from now. Staff was very nice, nurses were kind and helpful. The only downside is the food sucks.
