So fun! I love the people who work here. It makes me enjoy coming to the dentist, which isnt something you find everywhere. Plus they have movies like Trolls to watch in the waiting room. 12/10!

Ive been a patient at Healthy Smiles for several years and will continue to be for as long as theyre around. The hygienists have always been so kind and gentle with cleanings. Dr. Shaun McNees was incredibly thorough and efficient with my exam, I was very comfortable with his recommendations. I was in for a routine cleaning but they offered to do a same-day filling, I wasnt able to do it but the front desk got me scheduled quickly and gave me a breakdown of what Ill be responsible for paying. My family also all come here, this truly is a wonderful dental clinic and Id recommend them to anyone without reservation

I cannot say enough good things about this dentist and his staff! I went in on an emergency and they took care of me immediately. My tooth looks better than it did before! I definitely recommend you give Dr. McNees a try, you wont be disappointed

If you were a patient of Dr Preece prior to the change to Dr McNees make sure you confirm that they are still a preferred provider for your insurance. Shortly after switching to Dr McNees I had two cavities filled and not once did they tell me they were no longer a preferred provider. I blame myself for not double checking and view this as an expensive lesson to always confirm they are still a preferred provider. I do feel that it was fairly dishonest of Dr McNees and his staff to not inform their patients of major changes like this. Will be finding a new dentist and would advise caution when considering this practice. You will notice that most of the positive reviews were for Dr Preece who is no longer with the practice.

It should be known that the majority of the good reviews and testimonies here are for the recently retired, and very kind Dr. Terry Preece. I too was a satisfied customer of Dr. Preece since 2018 and was sad to hear thenews he was moving on, but wish him well in his retirement. Dr. Shaun McNees took over the Healthy Smiles Dental in August 2023. As an existing patient, I was notified of this change via a short text, and soon received a reminder notification for an appointment I had made at the end of Dr. Preece's tenure. To make a long story short, I had 2 appointments withDr. McNees over 4 weeks in the fall of 2023, and started receiving bills in the mail despite having good dental insurance and paying my copays at the time of service. The bills reflected my insurance had only covered a portion of the balance. After much back and forth with the Healthy Smiles office/billing, it was clear that one of their staff had been giving bad information regarding insurance and that I was no longer in-network with Dr. McNees. Although Healthy Smiles staff repeatedly admitted fault, saying they had fired the person that had been making these errors, I was ultimately responsible for what my insurance would not pay. I explained that it was confirmed that no changes had been made to my insurance at the front desk prior to these services, at no timehad it been explained that I was now out-of-network even given the month between appointments, Healthy Smiles had already received $245 between my copay and out-of-network insurance payments for a filling that took less than 20 minutes, that I do not make much annual income, this was a lot of money for me, that I am already financially extended with my monthly premiums and copays that I make for this supplementaldental insurance, and had been told at any time I was no longer in network with Healthy Smiles, I would absolutely had not receivedservice from them. When I finally spoke to Dr. McNees's sister Page, she explained that sinceI received the service I was responsible for the bill. When they threatened to turn my bill over to a collection agency if I did not pay an additional $173, I feltlike my hand was forced and painfully wrote off this payment as a fee for having the privilegeof never doing business with these people again. While this billing problem will likely not exist moving forward, I believe this experience is very telling of the accountability and lack of integrity of the newly managed Healthy Smiles Dental and patients should be aware of how they are now doing business.
