I have used Firewood Cleaners twice for laundering down-filled items in the last couple of months. Both times they failed to have the item ready on the stated day, a week after dropping off. On the last occasion I drove across town to their other branch the next day to pick-up and had to wait outside for 15 minutes as the sole staff member had gone out. Can't rely on them. No issues with quality of the work and staff are pleasant to deal with.

I had my king size UGG faux fur comforter dry cleaned here and before even dropping it off I asked a ton of questions to make sure they have washed these (or similar) in the past. Well, my comforter is ruined and Im super upset about it. The fur is all clumped together and has a weird residue on it that you can feel on your fingers after touching it. This was a few months ago and I have called to talk to someone about it (to resolve the issue before coming to leave a review) and have never heard back from them. All I wanted was a refund which I think is pretty reasonable considering they ruined our $300 comforter (that I can no longer replace because they are sold out/unavailable) after assuring me they could clean it properly.
