Dondees Laundry

I washed a load and all of my clothes in that washer were completely destroyed by the residual bleach from some moron who put WAY too much bleach in their load! I guess it's time for a brand new wardrobe, even though I JUST bought some of those clothes. Yesterday, actually. And the customer service is horrible! Every time I go up to the counter to ask for something, I feel like I'm walking on eggshells because they always get very irritated and let me know they're very irritated. Never going there again!

Pros: its one of the cleanest laundromats Ive ever been to and (other than a loud, tone deaf someone singing) its quiet enough that I had no issues finding a washer the right size for my needs. Cons: despite splitting my items into several smaller dryers, one dry cycle wasnt nearly enough time. Finally decided to put everything in one huge dryer and crossed my fingers. Machines are coin operated so Im glad to have some cash on me. Unfortunately, the change machine gives tokens instead of quarters, so Im likely going to have leftover tokens that will be useless once I leave. Also, there is nowhere to sit. Not a bench, chair, ledge, nada. Laundry can be quite a laborious task so having to stand the whole time is a pain. Between the singing and the standing, I wasnt willing to spend any additional time to fold straight out of the dryer. Which is the whole reason for me using laundromats in the first place . to get all of my items washed, dried and folded at the same time.

The large machines in the laundry allow one to get done quickly. Moreover, they have several styles, ie top loading washers. The facility is so clean; while the staff is friendly and efficient. Never lost money there either. I am trying the drop off service next.

I would give zero stars if I could! I took my down sleeping bags to be washed here and they did not use the correct amount of down wash (despite being told how much to use). The bags were also not dry when I picked them up and I needed to dry the bags myself after I left. I explained to the attendant down needs to be dried for 3 hours typically to be properly dry, but she told me no they do not. When she pulled out the bag from the dryer and it was visibly wet, she said it was dry enough and was only wet because it was inside out. They still charged me $50 for both bags. Absurd.
