        Very pretty. Medium intensity hike. If you go down to the river it's very challenging and recommend bringing climbing gear to stay safe.

        It's a small parking lot but a great area for hiking and to see anchorage from above!

        Make sure that you park in the parking lot and not along the road as you will receive a ticket and a parking fine. This is because of the traffic hazard due to poor visibility at the crest of the hill and the narrow road. When in doubt park below the hill in the larger parking lots. Oh, and lots of smash and grabs here. Lots of windows get smashed here and items stolen out of the cars. Community patrol does try to swing by from time to time, but they can't be there all the time.
