Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Anchorage Airport

Old hotel but sufficient for a quick stay near the airport. Bathroom toilet was dirty (had dry poop between toilet seat and bowl) and the sink was clogged. But otherwise, decent room and stay.

We stayed here one night to attend the Iditarod & wished we had not. We definitely do not recommend to anyone else, the rooms are old & ours was very dirty, the paint was peeling & cracking, blood on the bed, urine all over the commode & floor behind the toilet.

So I read a lot of the reviews before coming here. I wanted a cheap room. Free breakfast. And a shuttle from airport to hotel and back. This gave me all 3. The rooms were cleaner than I expected. Updated very clean bathrooms. With dove soap and shampoo and conditioner. Nice touch. The sheets on the bed smelled like very clean laundry soap. They smelled so good! The hotel it's self has a weird smell that you get used to. This hotel is nothing special. Thin walls. Not located by any gas or convenient stores within a short walk. You would need a car in the winter time. Breakfast is very basic. Eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, mini muffins, and a Belgium waffle maker. 3 kinda of juice and milk coffee and tea. It did the trick! Check in/out was very easy. Rooms: They are equipped with microwaves and fridges and coffee maker. Trying to find a plug for phone was kinda tricky. Beds are on the hard side. The pillows were actually featherd very comfy. Nice big T.V. good luck on figuring out the remote..lol. Bathroom was very nicely updated. Shower and water pressure was excellent!
