Southside Animal Hospital and Wellness Center

The vets here are truly animal lovers, along with being professional. They are caring and provide comforting care for both patients and patient parents. Southside has been my vet provider for 30+ years and I can't be more pleased with the great care they provide.

Absolutely amazing. My dog turned aggressive at age 6 and they have always been kind and understanding. He also had the big C and they were so doting and attentive. 6 years later, he is always well cared for and loved when I take him in. The staff is so sweet and patient, I couldn't have better things to say about them. No hesitation, they are fabulous! Came back to edit this: when my boy finally hit his age limit and started to go downhill they were so kind and helpful. I called in a panic and they made sure he didn't suffer any longer . Years later, we have new fur babies and they are very well cared for, to this day.

I have been with Southside Animal Hospital for 25 years. I have owned multiple Golden Retrievers and house cats, I raise Golden Retriever puppies and foster cats and kittens for a local nonprofit rescue organization.....I probably frequent the clinic more often than the traditional pet owner. The entire staff at SSAH is very professional, honest, caring and goes above and beyond to provide the best care for all my animals. I highly recommend SSAH to any pet owner. I would give the 10* if I could :)

The doctors and front desk personnel are great but the manager creates an awkward and hostile environment. My wife and I visited their establishment for service and we witnessed the manager, I think I caught her name as Anna, or possibly Chanandlar, berating and belittling multiple front desk personnel in front of multiple customers, both in person, and while at least one of them was attempting to speak with a client over the phone. When confronted and proven to be wrong about whatever the issue was that had her so upset, she did not apologize to anyone; the employees, the customers in the front area, no one. It was incredibly awkward and we felt such pity on her poor employees. Chanandlar (or Anna?) needs to take some classes on people skills. Keep your heads up, front desk personnel! You rock! How does she treat her employees and OUR PETS when people are not around?!?!
