Great Blue Heron Inn at South Cove

There are 4 guest rooms in total. The building is quite old and parking is on the street. The manager is not present, so all you have to do to check in is enter the PIN number sent to you. I stayed in a room overlooking the harbor on the second floor. The view is good as you can see boats and cars passing by on the road. Requests for things like blankets and sheets can be accommodated. Comes with a microwave and refrigerator, which is convenient if you want to take out and eat. However, there were some concerns such as hair remaining on the cushions and floor even though I had just entered the room, stained towels, and dirt in the trash can. In addition, despite the warning to be careful about noise after 9pm, I felt that I could hear the footsteps, loud music, and voices of my younger children until around 11pm every night, which was a nuisance. Also, the room could not be locked from the inside, so there was some concern about safety.

This is a super cute little place that was perfect for our Spring Steelhead trip! The location is very close to the Hill Bar which is only a 6 minute walk away. I'll definitely stay here again! Walkability: Very close to downtown Craig.

Very quiet marina view. Old building but very clean and comfortable. Loved relaxing on the deck!

We rented #4, which happens to be a 1bdrm apartment for a few days. The view was great, and the place was well stocked with the necessity. The only things that could have possibly our stay better would have been a softer mattress, and a bath tub instead of a shower.

Quite and cozy b&b with a harbor view. The bed was comfy and the shower water pressure was perfect. I will be making this a first choice for my work trips to Craig from now on.
