The Local Guy Charters & Sightseeing

Andrew was our Captain on our August 30th Whale Watching excursion and he was great. He was able to get us out to where the whales were in no time. We got to see one breach right away. It was very exciting. We enjoyed talking with Andrew and learning what it was like for him growing up in Juneau and life in Alaska. He was very personable and he made this excursion one of our favorites.

Sam and Caden were awesome! My husband was all about the fishing, and I was about the wildlife. They were able to accommodate us both! We caught halibut and nearly every type of salmon (missed the sockeye). We had Dahl porpoises catching our wave and saw a pod of humpback whales. Of course nobody can predict nature, so I can't guarantee you will have the same experience. I appreciated their knowledge, and learned a lot from them! We had so much fun getting to know them and joking along the way! Recommend!

We caught some perfect sized Halibut and some big Coho Salmon! Had a good haul to send home and made good memories that will last even longer than the boxes of fish being sent to my freezer. Captain squirt and deckhand quirky were a real joy to fish with. Personable, knowledgeable and a solid sense of humor. The captains fish calls got us a hit everytime. Adam the owner was on top of communication from booking to the day of, had us picked up/dropped off on time from our cruise ship with no sweat. (Royal Princess) I would recommend the Local Guys Charter to the seasoned and unseasoned fisherman, our party had both and everyone had a great time. (10/10)

One of the best and most memorable weekends of our life!! Couldnt have been any happier with our experience with Adam and Andrew! We did a two day (8 hr and 6 hr) excursion with Andrew with my two boys (ages 12 and 10). Andrew was awesome with my boys, the fishing was incredible and the views and wildlife were breathtaking. Local guy was very organized and professional. Would highly recommend and would love to do it again :)

We spent two days fishing with Andrew and Harbor! Could not have asked for a better trip or experience. Good times, good tunes and good fishing. Thank you from the Minnesota crew.
