was out of town and needed my lawn mowed. My lawn isn't large, but the price quoted was. Eventually he agreed to do it for less than half, but it was still a lot. Since I was out of town I asked if he could text pictures showing the completed work, and confirmed that credit cards were accepted. After the work was done, I got some low quality pics and found out that credit cards are not accepted. I told him that I would be back in town in a couple of days and asked how I could arrange payment. He said to mail him a check, which I did immediately upon return even though he had not disposed of the grass clippings as he said he did, the quality of the mowing was poor, and my lawn furniture was not replaced.
After the check was in the mail I got multiple texts and a phone call (which I couldn't answer due to being at work) demanding immediate payment. I found this very unprofessional and unpleasant, since we already made payment arrangements and I could not retrieve the check from the mail.
