Mean Queen

We made our way here from Ketchikan and the Mean Queen we were told was a must. I'm not sure why. We start d with the pretzel appetizer and it was like the frozen ones just heated with no flavor. We then tried the pizza.It was some of the worst pizza with almost no sauce or cheese which meant the toppings fell off pretty easily. The view out the window was pretty though.

We ate at the Mean Queen for breakfast and lunch while in Sitka. Both meals were enjoyed by all. The pizza both thin crust and deep dish were good a long with the wings and fried green beans and dessert that came with our deep dish. The house margarita hit the spot! Breakfast tacos and biscuit and gravy were good also. The portions were appreciated also.

It is one of the only places that opens late in town. I got in at 10:30pm flight and went straight here. It was busy, we ordered the food maybe less than 30 minutes we received our order. Even though it was busy, the food came out quick. The Fortress of Pigs pizza was my favorite. The crunch of the bacon was delicious.
