Homemade jams, jellies, kombucha, and opportunities to volunteer. The learning opportunities are endless. My personal favorite about Jackson gardens is that they also have a play ground area for my son to hang out while I am busy in the garden. They also do fun events like Hay rides in the fall. It would be a great idea for a school field trip to go help in gardens too. Alaska always surprises me at the amount of opportunities and this is no different. Come pick berries for your own bountiful harvest here.
