        I am from Florida and this is my first trip to Alaska and I'm a quilter & The barely threaded quilting store was an absolute find. everybody is helpful and they have so many unique territorial fabrics. If I'm ever back this way this is definitely a repeat stop.

        The shop looks beautiful when you first walk in. It really showcases Alaska. It is nice and wide open. You are not trying to scoot past people at the register.

        I'm interested in quilting so I checked out this store just to look around mostly. There's lot of cool fabrics and patterns it was fun just to scroll through everything. I didn't pick up any fabric or quilt patterns but I did pick up a pattern to make a stuffed animal manatee which is adorable.
