Red Door Acupuncture

This is long due, but in a way its better I waited to write, as I went back to RED DOOR ACUPUNCUTURE several times, making my review even much more relevant. A year ago we moved to Flagstaff AZ and my husband (very athletic and on the bicycle everyday for miles) started having super debilitating, painful migraine episodes that would last for days. We tried many different doctors, acupuncturists, herbalists. Nothing worked. One session with Jonathan at Red Door Acupuncture and my husband healed. I went myself few times for different aches and I can testify that Jonathan is the real deal, he has an all-around understanding of the human body, he will treat you with acupuncture and also give you exercises, or talk about your diet, or whatever your situation calls for. Its a great experience, a true Holistic approach in the most genuine sense. This is a true gem, good job Jonathan, THANK YOU!!!!

I suffer with coccyx-injury trauma, herniated discs and bulging discs near L5-S1. Im in my mid thirties. Western medicine has failed me so much in the last few years. Ive gone to three neuro-spine doctors in flagstaff and Prescott. Ive had invasive spinal surgery, nerve ablations, injections and more but still had pain. Ive never been interested in pain management through narcotics so I decided to reach out to Red Door for help since acupuncture worked for me previously. Jon REALLY listened to me and asked the right questions. He performed motor function tests and then treated me in a calm, dark room with relaxing zen music playing in the background. I woke up this morning for the first time in YEARS with hardly any pain! Jons cost of services is super reasonable considering all of his experience b/c my insurance doesnt cover acupuncture! Ive already scheduled two more sessions with him. Im so excited to see continued progress with his treatments and will recommend him time and time again, even after just one treatment. Some of the most healing bodywork that I've ever received. I don't think I could say anything that could capture how helpful Jonathan was. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable about injuries and really empowering - he shared a lot of his knowledge with me. I had a pretty badly sprained ankle, and he supported me getting back to running as quickly as possible. My limp was gone after the first time I saw him (three weeks into the injury). Anytime it got agitated after that he knew exactly what would help. He gave exercises along the way. He is very affordable given the depth of his knowledge and the effectiveness of his care. He had great referrals for PT as well. I am pretty hesitant to have my body touched and manipulated and he was very consent focused, communicating what he was about to do, asking for permission and very gentle with the injury. Overall really grateful for his knowledge and care!

The team at Red Door is nothing short of a miracle. Not only has Jon addressed and helped me fix every issue Ive come to him with - chronic neck and shoulder pain, stress relief, and mild fasciitis - hes gone above and beyond and taught me the simple exercises and stretches that treat the roots of my pain. No medicine involved. After a year of consistent treatment from Jon, Im in the best shape of my life, and more importantly, I feel better than ever. As I approach 40, Im grateful to Jon for giving me a better understanding of how my body works, how I can benefit the most from my time and effort, and what treatments are available when Im not feeling my best. Thanks, Jon and Red Door, for keeping me out of pain at home, work, and on the trail. These kinds of results dont lie.
