This Lake Havadu city definitely has the worst trash pickup service ever. i called their office spoke to a Mallory,Mallory sounded like she should be and I mean this sincerely in a bed in the hospital she could not answer my questions she was having a hard time talking literally was a disgrace of representation. Wow.

I have an on-going personal commitment to recycle my plastic containers and cardboard with no desire to be paid for the recycled items; my condo complex does not provide recycling bins. I just want to do the right thing and make my small contribution to alleviate our planet from becoming ONE BIG PLASTIC wasteland. So I Googled where I can drop off plastic and cardboard items for recycling. Republic has two locations that popped up: one for garbage disposal at their College Ave location and another at their Chenoweth location that was for recycling. Then I called the 800# for Republic to confirm I could drop off my plastic and cardboard at the Chenoweth location. The Customer Sat person confirmed I could drop off these items for recycling at the Chenoweth location. (This was after waiting 45 min on hold to speak with them). So I went to the Chenoweth location, waited in line about 10 min, just to be told the Chenoweth location only accepts the recycling items as TRASH that I would have to pay to dump them. I protested and reviewed with her the efforts I made to ensure I was taking the items to the correct location, and demanded to speak with the boss. She readily called the boss and I met him a few minutes later. He informed me that recycles go to the College Ave location. I informed him their websites and 1-800 crew were, well wrong. So I went to the College Ave location and to my relief, they had several large bins to deposit the plastic and cardboard with easy access. So, that's the Republic Services Lesson for the Day.
