Unfortunately my experience did not go so well. My consult went ok. Many many x rays were done, I was a new patient. I was told what needed to happen by Dr. Matatova. I clearly stated I needed medication for the actual procedure, due to anxieties, she very clearly said she uses "nitrous". She stated "don't worry everything would be fine, everyone loves it, it makes everybody happy, and I wouldn't feel a thing". NEVER did she say her license did NOT cover medication of a pill form! Yesterday, day of the my appointment, already dreading the appt..for an extraction & a filling. Now keep in mind..from the initial appt, which was april 6, I called the very next day to see if I could get in sooner then April 26 because my tooth was starting to bother me, I had to a VM. Well I didn't get a call back for 1 week. One week later and that they could possibly see me that day?? I was leaving town the very next day. It was impossible. So we were able to move it up to April 20 @ 5:00 i said perfect. So here i am at my appt yesterday, needless to say the "SUPER NITRUS" that was supposed to be so great wasn't. It wasn't for me. It was this hideous contraption over my nose, with sunglasses over my eyes so no particles flew in my eyes. That is when I asked the Dr., "Can't you just give me a pill form? That is when I was made aware of a pill form not being in her license. I was shocked. So now i have to get referred out. Sure no problem. I got the referral and left. Well, this morning I'm ready to call the the referring doctors office and they wrote the WRONG patient name on the referral!!

Who really likes going to the dentist? I had a minor dental trauma and was able to schedule a quick appointment with Dr. Matatova. New patient. She fixed me up new and spent extra time with me to make sure my work was done right. Patient, kind, and an exceptional dentist. If you are not already a patient of hers you should be. Do your smile a favor and go to Parkwood Ranch Dental Care. Make the extra drive if you don’t live in the East Valley it will be worth it!
