We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay that was nearby. This hotel popped up and was a fantastic value for what we needed. The service at the front desk was great, full service bar with food was open and available to us and to my surprise there was a driving range and golf course right out the back door. Nearby activities: Golf course and driving range.

Recently we stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport. I had not previously stayed at this hotel, although my wife had. It was very nice, especially as a Marriott Titanium Elite member, we were upgraded on our second night from having a parking lot view to a view of the golf course driving range behind the hotel. The room maids were always greeting us with a smile and a hello when they saw us in the hallways. What really impressed my wife and I was the morning breakfast. The Bar-Restaurant at the hotel was not fancy, but the food was simply incredible. For both breakfasts at the hotel, I had the Carnitas Skillet which was 2 cage-free eggs cooked to order, seared pork, potatoes, onions, Pico de Gallo and warm tortillas. It came with a side which both days were fresh fruit. The first night when we arrived, we picked up some fast food to eat in the room. That was a mistake when I saw what was available in the hotels restaurant. The rooms have the menus for both breakfast and dinner. While my international career is over, we still prefer staying at a Marriott hotel. When we next drive down the mountain from our home in the White Mountains of Arizona for a stay in the Phoenix metropolitan area, we will be at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport!
