        The school needs help. Spending is wild, the curriculum when I went there needed work, we had to cram all our chemistry in so seniors could have an extra art class, however spreading it into 2 classes like most schools would've helped us to understand it better. The way the staff handle needs beyond a typical kid is subpar, or they play favorites. You would be better off going to another arts school. Classes are about $100 each for supplies, and you have to pay out of pocket for anything not directly under the curriculum or if you need extra paper or what have you, even though the staff encourages you to make art outside the assignments.

      We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. All Arizona high school students need 3 years of lab science credit and our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students take one lab science during each of those years to obtain that credit (Biology, Physical Science, and Earth & Space Science). During the 12th grade year, we encourage students to take an art or general elective. There are no fees associated with any academic courses, many elective courses have no class costs, and some electives do have class costs -- this information is made available to families during course registration. Any student with financial hardship is able to seek financial aid through our business office. We provide any necessary supplies for students who request paper, writing utensils, binder, etc., to ensure that students can stay organized, participate fully, and remain actively engaged in their educational experiences.
