Weve had a terrible experience with Pillars. My uncle had been in hospice care for some time. We moved him to Hospice of the Valley and it was the best blessing for our family. Pillars came in, to my dying uncle and said youre dying theres nothing we can do for you, and you have to live with this. Theres no compassion with your loved ones. We switched to Hospice of the Valley and they were angles bring compassion, care, and peace. Our estate will recognize that.

The Pillars team has been incredibly supportive and compassionate in their care for my Grandmother.  The care itself, their response time and communication has been excellent. This journey can be a roller coaster and they have helped us tremendously along the way. There is much to be said for a smaller/more intimate team like Pillars versus the larger local hospice organizations. I feel very confident in highly recommending Pillars. God bless the hospice nurses and staff, its certainly a high calling!

My family had our first visit from Pillars Hospice Care after being referred to them by the manager of the group home our parents had moved into in June 2017. Our Mother was suffering with dementia and after being into 2 different hospitals, the hospice nurse, not the 3 previous doctors, realized she was suffering from Cancer of the brain, not Alzheimer's. After our Mother passed away, our Father who was 95 had little to live for after being married for 67 years. He lasted another 5 difficult months. I had Pillars assigned for his care. He passed away after his 95th Birthday party. Literally on his Birthday. The Chaplain from Pillars had come to celebrate with our family and his housemates at lunch. He passed away later that evening. The Staff from Pillars has been wonderful and supportive throughout this most difficult time, with both of our parents. This company has the most latitude for elderly care than a previous group we had used. If you have a family member that needs palliative care of hospice care, I, myself, or my family can highly recommend Pillars. Feel free to message me if you want a personal reference to this group.
