Troy Schumacher was great. I called at 6:00 and Troy showed up at 8:15. He was great to work with and made quick work out of our issue. He gave us some good advice on preventative maintenance and was very professional. Would definitely have Troy out again. Service: A/C system maintenance

The pilot light on my water heater went out, and I couldnt reignited,. I called Penguin to come out and check the water heater and right off the bat. I was told it was too old to replace any parts on it and the technician suggested a brand new unit. I asked him to at least try to ignite it, and he did without even turning the gas on, when it didnt ignite, he said the igniter was broken. He said a replacement would cost $2200 but with my Penguin membership it was 10% off so $2000. I said no thanks and that I would get another opinion and he left. I called my handyman over and then I called Penguin AC and while they were on the line my handyman lit the pilot and said there was nothing wrong with it. I asked Penguin Aur to take me if their program and she tried charging for their service call where they tried ripping me off. She said I owed them for three visits when theyve only been to my home twice and I paid for the first service call. I told her Ive given them $120 in monthly membership which comes out to $120 so minus their service call fee of $60 they owe me $60. These people are thieves and feed off desperate people in desperate situations. Stay away from them. UPDATE! After speaking with the Plumbing manager I was assured that the technician was going to be brought in for reeducation. I was also contacted by Tonya the quality. to me that this is not how they do business and that the technician get some additional training. She also waved. For me to get out of their monthly Penguin program. They made me realize that the actions of the technician is not a representation of their company values.
