We started our relationship with Alva Interiors during the design phase of our Scottsdale home remodel, and quickly discovered we are working with a real industry pro. Mel led us through the entire remodel project, creating construction plans, and 3D CAD turning the vision for our home into a workable design. Mel and her team have been with us at every phase, helping to identify the best approach from demo to final finishes. We feel very fortunate to have found a professional with her background, and experience. As our general contractor, she also brings top tier skills and expertise in cabinetry design, industry trends and culture of relentless attention to project details. We are seriously impressed with the entire Alva Team!

Mel is more than just a designer. shes turned out to be our best advocate! Fearing that people would walk into our custom build house and say what were they thinking! we hired Mel as our designer to make sure we didnt screw it up. The architect and builder fill their roles, but they just dont have the eye for flow and function like a designer does. .but what weve gotten from Mel is so much more. Shes turned out to be our most valuable advocate. Her construction management experience has kept our builder honest and the process moving. She does all the vendor showroom scheduling, has contacts and vendor discounts and can sniff out when vendors are not being transparent. She works for us and no one else. That has turned out to be extremely important, because were new to this process. Our new house build project is ongoing, so well post an update when its built and were all moved in.
