        The parking lot at the actual start of the trail was closed so we had to park at the lodge area which added an additional 3 miles back and forth. The actual hike was very muddy and wet so keep that in mind (we did hike early March). Its a very short hike that has wonderful views once you hit the mid part of the hike. It was definitely worth the 7 miles we had to hike. However the hike back was brutal. Would recommend trekking poles to ease the pressure on feet because again, it was quite muddy and wet.

        Absolutely gorgeous. Pick a trail to walk or bike. Would be perfect for a proposal. There are vendors up top that have snacks and items for sale. Motorcycle parking only areas

        Hiked to observation point. It was a beautiful morning and the views were nice. Intermediate skill level. Would recommend for a great morning hike.
