Residence Inn by Marriott Sedona

My wife and I stayed five nights at this hotel. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful. This starts with the staff. Very courteous, friendly and professional. Additionally, they have all of the amenities that you could want from swimming pool to hot tub to laundry to fitness room to business center. I would recommend this hotel without reservation. Rooms: Our room was spacious and well appointed. Nearby activities: Just a few miles up the road to all of the attractions that Sedona has to offer. Also, Cottonwood is just a short drive up the road. Safety: This location is secure, and the parking area is well lit Food & drinks: Breakfast was complementary and offered a nice variety.

The customer service at this hotel is pathetic even for their elite honors members. In February 2024, we booked through Marriott reservations and were guaranteed we could you our gift cards at the point of checkout. This guarantee was confirmed by hotel management left my customer phone voicemail. Fast forward to the day of checkout. The hotel refused to honor their commitment to process the gift cards. I spoke with a very sensitive pal named Nikolas at the forefront desk. I told Nikolas that Marriott NEEDS to honor their commitment and NEEDS to honor their word that theyd accept the gift cards. At this point that sensitive cupcake Nikolas got extremely offended by my use of the word NEED and told me that Marriott doesnt appreciate my choice of words and hung up the phone on me to proceed to his safe space. After weeks of back and fourth with the GM I got partially reimbursed for the stay and had to go through the credit card company to get fully reimbursed.

They do charge $25 plus tax for parking which is a money grab but everything else is awesome. The room and bed were clean and comfy and if you are here to mountain bike you can ride from your room to areas around Mescal and I even did a Hi Line loop from the room. The breakfast was great and a few things switched up everyday but we mainly ate yogurt and granola or oatmeal anyway. Friendly service and I wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean. Spacious room. Usual type of breakfast, but significantly higher quality.
