Cochise county really struggles when it comes to choices for locally owned, high-end restaurants and our expectations were high based on the look of the building, the furnishings, and the properly dressed staff. We were seated promptly and the server was friendly and attentive. The chicken piccatta had more of a plain, homemade taste to it and my ribeye was very thin, making it hard to cook to the proper temperature while remaining juicy. Our experience was good enough for us to return a second time but it didn't really meet our expectations.

We arrive at Z's hungry and were quickly sat. Arrilius served us and is as professional and attentive as they come. We started with the fried platter, which was very crispy and delicious with authentic marinara. The ceasar salad was good, although the house salad seemed to use bag lettuce. The new York strip steak seemed very thin and had much fat which my wife does not like. She did say her baked potato was good. I had the Oleg "filet mignon with holundase" which was absolutely amazing. So tender and juicy. The steak house fries were mushy and tasted like they came from a bag. The price was decent. All in all, if you pick out what they do well you can have a great meal with great service.

Posting the same thing I did on Yelp! and Facebook: My husband and I decided to give this place a shot even though we'd heard mixed reviews. Sadly, we were very disappointed. When we came in, the hostess was leaning on the wall chewing gum with her mouth open, and acted like she couldn't care less that she was there. It took them several minutes to figure out where to sit us. Once we were seated, it took another 10 minutes for us to be be greeted by our server. We overheard one group of people behind us talking about how they had been waiting 2 hours for their food, and another couple waited half an hour for their reservation. Once we finally ordered, it took 20 minutes for me to get a beer, and then it was another hour before we got our food. My husband's 14oz filet mignon was mostly gristle (also, filet cuts should not be more than 8oz to begin with), the mushrooms that he ordered on top of his steak came out in a dish that looked like they dumped out a can of button mushrooms and microwaved it for a bit, my mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box, and the texture was very mealy. Our server barely spoke to us at all, besides to take our order and give us the check. She never asked us if we were enjoying our meal, never checked in on us, nothing. The majority of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there, they were yelling at each other about missing order components in front of customers, it was just so disorganized. Both my husband and I have worked in restaurants before, on both the low end and high end, and it pains me to say that this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. It makes me sad because I would love to see more businesses thrive in this town, but between the disorganization, the poor attitudes of the staff, and just the general confusion, I don't see this place doing well. They seem very confused about whether they want to be an Italian restaurant, a steakhouse, or a seafood restaurant, there are barely any items on the appetizer list that aren't fried, and over all the whole experience was so bad it was almost comical.

Chicken Marsala too salty and dry. Shrimp Pesto sauce was watery and flavorless. Shrimp were dry and flavorless. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.
