Bruegger's Bagels

The food is good, no complaints there. The problem is the staffing, or lack of. I fly out of Tucson frequently and have just stopped going here. Today there was ONE person (being a rock star all by himself), but whoever manages/owns this place is a joke. Even when there had been 2-3 employees they clearly were not trained in efficiently nor have anything close to good customer service. The wait is always SO long. At an airport you'd expect the managers to hire people who can hustle, because you know flights are leaving. Kudos to the Lone Ranger today.

More people leave this line without ordering than get food. Much more. I'm only waiting to kill an hour and a half before my flight, and honestly I don't think I will be able to get food before it boards. So slow. Both workers disappeared for 10 minutes without saying anything. There were 5 people in line in front of me.

Terrible service. They have a full menu but can't get any of it. Cannot understand the person at the counter because he mumbles to you so you just stand there staring at each other. Wish I would have made a purchase from a vending machine.

We ordered 3 sesame seed bagels - one toasted only - nothing on it - the other two toasted with butter and cream cheese. Our order came up about 15 minutes later all with butter and cream cheese. When I approached the long haired fellow at the till for a replacement sesame seed bagel - he told me he couldnt do that - I asked how could they possibly mess up a simple order like that - no answer - he shoved a regular untoasted bagel in a bag and passed to me - I then asked the woman behind the counter who was making the bagels how a simple order is messed up like that - no response from her - the long haired fellow then looked at her and said dont worry about it - I said well you all should worry about it - he repeated himself to the woman working behind the counter! This is not the first time our orders have been messed up at this location - they have a captive airport clientele so they have no reason to care as choices are limited at the Tucson International Airport for food services. They will not get our business any more!!

Absurdly slow service. Employees have no sense of urgency whether are 3 people or 20 people in line. I fly out of this location almost weekly and its the same story every time. If there are more than 3-4 people in line I know Ill need at least 30 mins to get a bagel. Today more people left the line than were served over the 30 mins I waited.
