Ive been a customer of centennial bank for over 10 years. Ive even worked for this company in the past, for a few years. The bank has continually lost the feeling of being a local community driven bank. The branch Manager Rebecca of the Tyler/ Hogan branch is highly unprofessional with a poor attitude. While attempting to resolve an issue with one of my multiple accounts that was opened at her location she had no answers to where or what account funds were pulled from. I expressed great concern in my issue and she had no worry and felt it was laughable that funds were missing from my account. She said back office who processes deposits and transfers were not available after 3pm. I believe thats poor customer service to not be able to contact anyone or get any help the last few hours of the work day especially before a weekend. The lack of care and consideration she showed was a very poor reflection of the standards of Centennial Bank these days. If you are local to Arkansas or especially Conway Id highly recommend looking into First Service Bank. Ive slowly been transferring my accounts there and the service they provide is night and day difference of what Centennial is doing now.

My fianc and I used them for a mortgage loan recently. They knew we intended on using a VA home loan well in advance; as we were pre-approved for it through them for a year. No one told us we had to be married beforehand in order to do a dual application. Needless to say we couldnt do the dual application since we arent married. During the process we were told numerous times, this is the last document you will need to sign. We threw that to the wind after the 10th time being told that. The process just came to a crawl. Fast forward a month later we just made our first payment days ago only to find out they sold the loan off to a company called Rushmore Loan Management Services. Ive never even heard of that company. We looked at the reviews on Rushmore and they are horrendous! Why would Centennial sell our loan to such a company? We will not use Centennial Bank ever again. We should have gone with Arvest.

I think this is my first online review under 4 stars. I really feel like I'm a forgiving and understanding person - but I've never cried more with any establishment I've ever done business with than this one. There are many instances that stand out - but the biggest one was a few months ago they had withheld money I had wired over to my personal account. After calling the customer care line (which might be one of two good things about this company), it was taken care of and I believe it was the branch manager who gave me my wired money about an hour later, when she had found out. The tellers had withheld my money without true cause. The manager and the customer care line are the only reasons there are two stars and not one. Today they cleared out my savings account without a phone call or written notice. When I called, they said my husband had owed them money. If we owe money, it needs to be paid - I'm really not upset about that at all. But there was no mail or notification before or after that the money would be withdrawn completely or that anything was due. We have had this bank account for about 3 years, so I guess my question is why is the money being withdrawn now? And to log in to your bank account and see your savings as "$0" with the description being "teller withdraw" and know that you have not been to the bank that day - is just a tough feeling to process. I feel like my money is not safe with them. And that's a terrible feeling to have with a personal banker.
