This is actually a very short walk into the woods and back. You are essentially paying $8 PER PERSON to take a photo in front of a cool rock, look at some cairns (piles of small stones) and take a walk in the woods. Sadly, I think the drive in may have been as nice as the actual park itself, and that was free. There were children selling their hand painted rocks outside their home, and they were sweet. I think a fee of $3 or maybe $4 would be more appropriate. The fabulous Arkansas state parks are free, and there are way more interesting walks and formations there.

There is a natural bridge and the pivot rock which would be worth seeing if youve never seen formations like those before. However if you want to get some trail miles in and see the natural beauty of the area for free you are better off hiking the trails at nearby Lake Leatherwood Fees: $8 per adult Restrooms: Restroom at gift shop
