My wife and I rented this place through Airbnb. It was very obvious that nobody had come to clean it after the last guests. The bed sheets were dirty, dirt on the floors, hair in the sink and bathtub, and it smelled bad of gas. I get it - mistakes happen. We tried to be understanding after talking to the owner, Marcia. She said she would have it clean in an hour. My wife and I booked a hotel room for one night instead. We agreed to come back the next day to see if it was clean enough to stay the remainder of our trip. It was. So we stayed the next two nights there. This is where things really turn south. When we asked about our refund for the first night, Marcia said she will send a check instead of going through Airbnb. It took 3 weeks for her to send the check, and when it finally did come, she sent $70 less than what it should have been. Very terrible business practices. Please avoid booking this place if you can.

Dirty sheets, mud prints on the floor, hair in the bath tub Clearly nobody had come to clean it after the last guests. It also smelled bad of gas. The owner, Marcia, came over after we told her its not clean. She said she would have it clean in an hour. The place definitely needed more than one hour to have it properly cleaned. So, my wife and I booked a hotel room instead. Marcia asked us to come back the next day and see if we wanted to stay the remainder of our trip in her cabin. Reluctantly, we agreed. It was cleaned when we went back the next day. The rest of the trip was fine. However, when we asked about our refund for the first night, Marcia insisted she send a check for our refund instead of going through the proper Airbnb channel. We were nice and we said ok. It took 3 weeks for her to send the check. And when it finally did come, she sent $70 less than what it should have been. AVOID HER BUSINESS ALTOGETHER!! Horrible customer service and she will scam you!!!
