Spent a quick birthday weekend here with family. The beds are very comfortable, nice linens, bedding, down pillows and towels. Every bedroom has one or two accent chairs thats nice to sit on to put your shoes on. Outlets or USB ports are convenient to find for charging electronics overnight. They also provide both an iron and a portable steamer for garments, plus ample closet space and wooden hangers. Youll love the extra large shower with three shower heads, not to mention a giant soaking tub! The hosts have provided everything one might want or need, including a basket of assorted items like extension cords, various chargers, a lint roller, manicure kit, etc. Drawers filled with assorted games, cards and even a nice selection of vinyl records to play on the turntable! We loved the amount of lighting from lamps, chandeliers, spotlights and recessed lights most of them dimmable to customize the ambiance you want. Such cute dinnerware and serving utensils in the kitchen. A wonderful coffee maker using a k-cup or a whole pot, plus a whole coffee bar! We loved that the kitchen counters are 3 higher than standard height which makes me want to raise mine at home no backache prepping food or washing dishes!!! There arent ceiling fans but plenty of cute oscillating fans are provided (in addition to central a/c) to alleviate an unusually hot and humid fall weekend. Comfortable seating in the living room, four barstools for kitchen counters, and we loved the large dining table to eat and play games at; bonus, a piano enjoyed by a musically talented family member! We enjoyed coffee on the back deck where theres a large table, side chairs and a fire pit. My husband had me check out the weight of the cast iron hood on the Weber grill since hes wanting to replace our grill at home with one. After dark the neighborhood is very quiet except for a fun visit by a raccoon! What youll remember most is the most vibrant, eclectic, fun and witty decor! It will cause you to abhor modern minimalism. I imagine a decorator who was the love-child of a hoarder, Liberace and Cheech & Chong. Among historical prints of butterflies and sea life, with a brass fox valise on the counter youre surprised by a frog in the window among walls of hand painted black dashes! And thats just the half bath in the hallway! And the remarkable part is every person from age 24 to 60 didnt find it gaudy or tacky! We all loved it!! Well done to whoever the creative decorating genius is! The only cons that arent really drawbacks because it just added to the whole whimsical and charming vibe is the layout of bathroom placements are a bit odd, but probably necessary from a construction/plumbing viewpoint and total privacy is on a courteous basis. Also, transitions to most rooms involve a change in floor height so we made it a game of tracking which person stumbled the most! (Our 34 year old daughter won!) So if you love luxurious amenities plus quirkiness, youll adore this place as much as we did!

Amazing stay!!! The cottage was just what we needed for our getaway and in the perfect location. It was apparent as soon as we arrived that the hosts truly care about the people who stay; snacks left for us, quality towels, blankets, bedding, etc. I've stayed in several houses and these special touches are what get me to stay again. Highly recommend!!!

This is southern hospitality at its finest! The detail in the cottage and stay was exceptional- from the historical books about Eureka to the amenities included for those of us that always forget to bring something. I loved the location as it allowed for a beautiful walk downtown to do some shopping and take in the local entertainment, or to simply stroll over the Crescent Hotel bar for a nightcap. Even better, you dont have to leave the cottage to enjoy the area; the patio is great space to relax and take in the surrounding beauty. 5 stars, hands down the best!

As a family gathering place to celebrate my grandson's graduation, this place exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, beautiful and conveniently located. There were so many thoughtful amenities from the highend soaps to the record player and music albums, the piano, fireplace, fire pit, games, throw blankets and so much more than I can list. There are multiple spaces indoors and out to gather and to relax. The managers checked in, offered their services where needed but honestly prepared the house in such a way that we couldn't need anything else. I cannot wait to go back.
