Dogwood Lodge

Stayed at the Dogwood. 2 adults and 2 teens were able to spread out comfortably. The giant couch was great for naps and the cabin felt quiet and secluded. The property was beautiful, we caught an amazing sunrise and saw an armadillo on the way back from the cave. We would definitely return, much better than a hotel!

The cabin is cute and cozy, and the hot tub was so relaxing. They left plenty of towels for our stay and it's only a few minutes away from downtown. Absolutely would stay here again.

Cabin was dated and needed freshened up new flooring. Fresh paint We had party at 6 only had 4 wash rags in each of the 2 bathrooms for three days. The driveway is washed out, and the car drags when entering the driveway. There is no lighting on the signage at the road entrance. First time Visitors pretty tough to find in the dark. Also, the step going to the deck near the trash can is broken off. There's mud instead of gravel by the steps going into the unit. There were dead bugs on the carpeting in the living room. There were not enough chairs at the table on the deck for a party of six. Both the front and rear entry doors were filthy around the door handles inside and outside. There's no railing on the stairwell going downstairs to the basement unit. The tub in the upstairs bathroom main level is a Jacuzzi tub, which is very deep. There are no grab handles and quite inconvenient for us older folks really should be updated to a walk-in shower..
