I called to get more information and whoever answers the phone was the rudest woman I have ever spoken to. She would not let me speak and kept interrupting me before I could finish a sentence. She treated me like she had no time to be bothered with my call and like I was a burden. Please get kinder staff.

I have worked here for about 5 years and I have been through several owners, administrators and dons. I have worked with many nurses and cnas. While this is an old building, the staff is great. We treat our residents like family. You will have good and bad everywhere. Nursing is in a crazy place right now but we have dedicated employees that go above and beyond.

We had a good experience with the assisted living side and all the staff there, but then mom had to be moved to full care, which has been a complete nightmare. In the first week, I showed up to find her covered in her own feces, with feces all over the room; we have been told she had a seizure and was sent to the ER, but the staff could not describe the seizure or give us any information other than, "she has a history of seizures"... which she absolutely does not; and it's been impossible to reach anyone who can give us any sort of information about her status or treatment plan. The staff are incredibly hard to contact, either by phone or in person, and in general have been rude and unhelpful (when we can find them at all). I am starting to suspect they take some sort of special training in eyerolls, as often as they produce them. The "nurses" we have managed to talk to have limited understanding of medical conditions in general, but especially of our mother's (they are well versed in eyeroll, however) I realize all nursing homes struggle with staff and funds, but this one has so far been like something from a horror movie. We are doing our best to get her out of there ASAP.
