Terrible Dentist. I spent $14K replacing caps that didn't even need replacing. In the 1.5 years 4 of the caps broke and one of the bridges had to be replaced. My understanding is that he has retired....good thing!

I wanted to share a recent review and opinion. This office is amazing, they are well trained staff and give an exceptional experience every time. I have had to change dentist several times. Dr. Windhams office is the best I have found so far. I reccomend them to everyone. The front receptionist has been changed for anyone wondering. I highly recommend!

You need to read this if you are considering this dentist. It has taken me awhile to write this because it was such a traumatic experience. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Dr. Windham or Markham Family Dentistry. I went to get a permanent crown. When the assistant Mallory came in, she told me that she was going to take off my temporary crown and install the permanent one. I asked her, "shouldn't I be numb for this??" To which she replied, "well, no, only if it hurts I guess." She clamped something around the temporary crown and when she started to pull, I IMMEDIATELY protested. She continued anyway and said that once it was off, if I felt cold sensitivity from the air, that she would get the Doctor to numb me. I told her that yes, I can feel the cold sensitivity. She got the Doctor and after two shots, I explained that I was still feeling sensitivity to the cold air and just in general. I could still feel my teeth and gums in the air that he numbed. Now keep in mind this is my 3rd crown with Dr. Windham. In the previous installations, he made sure that I was fully numb and comfortable. That day though, no cares were given. Even after I continued to tell both Mallory and the Doctor that although my tongue and lip were numb, my teeth were NOT, they proceeded with cementing the crown anyway. The cement, when airborne, is extremely cold. The Doctor held my mouth open and forced the cold cement-filled crown right on top of my sensitive, exposed tooth, and jammed it into place. I immediately screamed and started to cry. He put gauze in my mouth and walked away to work on another patient. I literally laid there in tears while Mallory tried to clean my gum line and remove the extra cement. In her defense, she was trying to be gentle, but the whole thing was so awful. I kept saying that I could feel EVERYTHING that was going on. I laid there and continued to cry for what felt like an eternity, wondering what I did to deserve being treated this way, waiting for her to finish so I could leave. When it was finally over, the Doctor prescribed me with something and I asked what it was. Mallory was not sure and proceeded to GOOGLE it. I wish I was kidding. (After my own Googling and asking my pharmacist what it was for, it wasn't an antibiotic like Mallory and the Office Manager said, but it was a steroid for swelling and inflammation.) I continued to ask why I needed the prescription. Especially when he has never prescribed me anything before and not even for the previous crowns. No one could answer me. Again, this was my 3rd crown, I'm not new to how this should feel and it was horrible. I have lost all confidence and trust in the entire team. Thanks to them, it's been over 2 years since I've been to the dentist as I now am afraid and have anxiety about the dentist in general. If I were you, I would steer clear of this place and find a dentist that will treat you as if you matter and wont try to rush through a dental procedure just because the lobby is getting full. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere.

This is the best place to feel at home and not feel the usual nerves of a dentist visit. I actually look forward to my dental visits and enjoy catching up with the ever brilliant Misty (who is always there for me and even remembers our conversations over the years) JUST like old friends! The other members of the staff are also excellent...let me not forget Cameron who is so kind!! I even have to say it is great to see Dr. Windham himself as he is always ready to share laughs! This place has been my family's dentist for a decade or longer. They know exactly what I need or prefer before I even ask. Today, I had extra work done by a newer member of their crew, Billy. He did an amazing job in helping me feel relaxed and safe. He was also patient. He was funny, He was superbly informative and encouraging. I cannot thank Billy and all the rest of them enough except to say that I highly recommend that you make this place your home too!!!
