I ditched my diet and dropped my New Year resolution while eating at Grinder Field Restaurant. While the cook provided generous portions of food, I envisioned the hot muffins baked in a South Arkansas corn field . The cabbage was seasoned perfectly, and the liver/gravy was plentiful ;however, gluttony whispered there's not enough onions. The yams dared me to eat them, and I dared to say my sweet tooth did not have a cavity. I needed more sugar in sweet potatoes. The bread pudding was smooth as jazz playing at a Little Rock festival.The server was also pleasant to speak with.

It was a sad experience they had ran out of food. My taste buds was ready for that good ole cabbage greens, some dressing and turkey wings or legs. It's some awesome people that cook and work there. Maybe next time.
