Our child takes bass lessons, and he loves it and seems to be learning a lot, even though he's not he most self-motivated to practice. But he loves practicing when we ask him to. (We have another child who plays piano elsewhere, and naturally plays daily.) There's an online system where you can log practice time, but for me that doesn't work. An old-fashioned calendar works best for us. Regardless, the studio is great!

Ms Valerie is a great and amazing teacher. We started during pandemic and my kids learned piano virtually via zoom and we carried on from the since they love how she teaches them. They also enjoyed their first recital last year and it was a great experience for them.

I am really happy I found Altadena Academy of music. I had been wanting to learn piano for a long time and finally in my mid 20s, I decided to search for private lessons. I can see the progress I have made in a few months. I am grateful to had been place with Amanda as my piano instructor. She is very friendly , kind , and patient.

My son absolutely flourished in his guitar classes with Drew. Now, he is taking singing classes and is learning and really enjoying them!
