Alec caused extensive damage to my plumbing/entire home due to poor workmanship and negligence on a bathroom remodel. We have been living with mold in our home since this was discovered in March and forced to hire an attorney to remedy this situation. Alec is extremely unprofessional. We have hired licensed professionals, had our homeowners insurance inspect the home and regardless of all the documentation/reports he will not take accountability for his negligence. Avoid this contractor at all costs! We have already spent $10,000 to repair our plumbing leaving our remodeled bathroom torn apart and unusable with an anticipated $60,000 additional needed to open up our walls for mold remediation/repair. Buyers beware!

I'm sure the work these guys do is great... but unfortunately, I couldn't actually get them to show up when they said they would. Eventually I had to give up on them. 2/11 - Alec came by to take a look at the work. He told me that he'd work with my insurance company and do everything, but since I had a $1000 deductible I would need to pay him that as a deposit in order to get on his schedule. I questioned this, my insurance company had sent me paperwork stating it was taken out from the property loss coverage. Alec seemed pretty sure that my deductible would come from his payment, so I figured I'd work with the insurance to sort out the deductible and pay him that deposit. As soon as I sent the payment via Zelle, Alec put me on his schedule for 2/17 in the morning. 2/17 - I called Alec at 2p to see what was going on. He informed me that he'd removed me from his schedule since he could not get in touch with the insurance adjuster and didn't want to risk starting the work but not getting paid. He said it was an oversight that he didn't tell me. 2/22 - Alec called and said he still wasn't able to get in touch with my insurance so he couldn't put me on the calendar because he wasn't sure he'd get paid for the work. Meanwhile, I checked with my insurance company and found out that he had not sent in an estimate yet. 3/7 - My insurance company got a $6400 estimate from American Renavatu. 3/9 - I hadn't heard from Alec, so I sent him a text asking if we could just cancel, refund my deposit and I'd rehire his team once I had it sorted out. Alec replied to my text saying he had spent the deposit on materials and could not refund it. 3/10 - My insurance company approved the work and sent me the check. I decided to cut our losses and hire someone a bit more responsive so I called Alec. He apologized profusely and said he felt really bad about having been "negligent" with our work. He expressed remorse and was very professional so I decided to give him another chance. He said that his team would arrive at my home at 7:30 on 3/15 to ensure they could begin work at 8. 3/15 - This morning his team wasn't there so I texted Alec at 8. He told me he had another inspection to do first, so he'd be here between 10 and 11. At that point, my trust in him was completely gone. I sent him a text telling him to just cancel the job. He proceeded to send me two lengthy voicemails and several texts, in which he called me unreasonable and said that he didn't understand my problem. My husband returned the call, during which Alec asserted that I'd been hostile from the start. My husband asked him to please not call or come by, and that we'd do all further communication via writing.

Hello my name is Jake and I would like to say I needed to remodel my kitchen and bathroom and I was looking for a good professional contractor to hire to do my project. I found American Renavatu Builders Corp and from the moment I spoke to the office spoke to a nice lady, she reffed me to the Contractor and we schedule an appointment for them to come out and give me a quote. At this point I had already 2 other estimates from other contractors. What I was looking for was not just a good price but most important is who I felt most confortable having them in my house. Well I had my list of questions I needed answered and Alec was very helpful in the way he explained the process and the different samples of kitchen cabinets to choose from. He had samples. He was very prepared than the other 2: he even brought samples Of Quartz. Countertops that were the most popular right now. Price was a little more than one of the contractors. I tried to get him to go lower on the price from were the other contractor was and he said his price was firm, and that what I was going to get was great quality work. He was very convincing, so I hired him. From the moment they should up for demo, they covered everything and demolition of kitchen hauled and clean everything. They took 5days and there were no hiccups with them. Everything was great. Also my bathroom I had them install niche 24x24 and raise my shower head to 6 and tile was 3x 16 subway tile and came out beautiful. My wife loved it and the shower glass door was on point. I wanted to give his team a tip because they worked hard, and Alec the manager said that instead of a tip, if I was happy with the work to put a review. So here i am. They are AWSOME and the work i cant say enough. Hands down would recommend them to anyone.

I hired American Renavatu Builders, he was highly recommended. I had a pipe leak in the home, I went through my insurance, filled a claim and Alec came to my home took photos of the damages and he was a total professional I needed to re tile my shower wall and do some drywall repair in the leaving room ceiling and it came out great he also matched my texture finished and painted it and cane out like it was never damaged. He was on time and very clean. His crew was also great and very professional. I can tell they take great pride in doing quality work. They also do complete home remodeling and new construction . I will be hiring him in the future, definitely would recommend him to anyone regardless of the other reviews. I did asked him how much was he billing my insurance it his prices are very fare. Now a days everything is very expensive, I understand he needs to charge for his good service. Thank you Alec and team!
