I don't know how I didn't know about this place!!! Best Mexican restaurant in town. I got the Chile relleno & shirp taco and it was delicious !! Fast , clean and super friendly people. Will come back to try the giant burrito.

Had some chicken tacos with a side of beans and rice. Everything was really good, there was almost to much chicken in the tacos so it felt worth the price. The real star of the show was the green tomatillo sauce, it was so good I put it on everything.

The best Mexican food in town, hands down. The carnitas are the best I've ever had. So flavorful, crisp, juicy and tender, everything carnitas should be. Everything is fresh, hot and delicious. The Carnitas California Burrito used to be my favorite (it's the best burrito ever, seriously)until I discovered I have celiac and can't have gluten. Family run business, always friendly and you can tell they put lots of love and care into their business. Closed Sunday and Monday but open 11-8 the rest of the days.

Flaming Burrito Grill is definitely the most delicious Mexican restaurant in Auburn. The chef is on point. The plates are full of meat, rather than being stacked with rice and beans at other places, and the presentation of the meals is also well done. So, if you are coming here, expect good food. The service gets 3 stars for two reasons. First, there is no chip bar, and you will pretty much only get one small thing of chips during your stay here. Second, the cost of the menu, although not outrageous, is still slightly more than a typical competitor Mexican restaurant. (Say compared to El Portal also here in Auburn.) For example, we took our two small children to the restaurant and ordered a side of chicken. It was $12.00 for this small amount of food. Now, I'd love to give a higher service rating due to the chef, who has come out to our table on one of my other visits and checked on our table. He is friendly and definitely good at his craft. Overall, this is not a terribly busy restaurant with definitely delicious meals!
