The Village at Seven Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care

My mother has been at The Village for over 3 years. I am not a novice on Senior Living Facilities. We have moved my mom 8 times since my dad died in 2014. Ive eaten in 8 dining rooms, watch the care my mother was receiving in 8 places, and saw the management of 8 places. Your dining room staff and meals are by far, the best. Rickay Hildago, Administrator and Edie Cano, Health Services Director, are so above all the other places, there is no comparison. Thank you for the great care you have given my mother and are still doing. I would recommend The Village to anyone in Bakersfield looking for a great place!

Tiffany was very nice and had all the answers to our questions. Also was willing to help transportation information and getting my mother in law situated in her new surroundings.

I was very impressed with the memory care facility and the caring staff we met on our tour. We will be transferring our parent from Mercy Southwest Hospital to the care of The Village.

Grandmother was very well taken care of. This is a beautiful facility. My grandmother passed in December of 2020.  When we went to retrieve her personal belongings, all of her jewelry was missing. I went through her jewelry box right before she went into the facility. At that time I knew we should have locked it up in a safe deposit box. But grandma said it would be fine. It wasn't. Numerous personal stones that we have collected through the years were missing. My grandfather and her used to collect jade, moonstones and other gems through out the years as we grew up. He personally mad her rings, bracelets and necklaces. Along making these for his grandchildren and good friends at church.  This was my grandfathers passion.  Her wedding ring along with other family heirloom jewelry are missing. Two rings that I know of with diamonds are gone. We as a family finally were able to get together for our grandmothers funeral. Due to COVID after all these months. What we received of her jewelry:  were two adult silver rings, 1 baby's ring and 1 necklaces. That was it.  So, if your family has anything of value in this home? I would remove it.
